LETS FACE IT:
We’re all fed up and just want our fitness routines back in our lives. You probably have days where you feel super motivated to get that daily walk in or that hour of exercise that the Govt. “Allow” LOL! Then other days you just wanna chill on the couch eat your favourite comfort foods and do F*** all, am I right?
Then after you’ve done nothing do you feel guilty, disappointed in yourself and shameful??
We’re living through something that none of us have truly ever experienced before so trying to manage your usual daily life with so many restrictions and changes throws you completely out of whack!
National Lockdown has lifted restrictions, to no lockdown and enjoying the end of summer then back to restrictions again, semi lockdown 2.0 with Tiers, Xmas then lockdown 3.0
STOP BEING SO HARD ON YOURSELF:
from the highest level Athletes to complete fitness beginners EVERYONE struggles with staying motivated and having to constantly adapt your routine with all that’s happening isn’t easy BUT YOU CAN DO IT BRUV!!!!!
comes and goes but it’s discipline that will get you where you want to be so slooooow your roll homies! Take a deep breath, chill your mind and just take a moment to remember why you started training in the first place!
ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS: (SERIOUSLY! It Helps trust the process!)
- Why do I want to train?/ Why did I start training?
- What do I need to do to achieve these goals?
- How many days can I realistically commit to train each week? (to start off with don’t go crazy no injuries please)
NOW OUT LOAD OR IN YOUR HEAD SAY THIS TO YOURSELF!: (you might think I’m nuts but I don’t care just do it ok!)
I’m a badass Fother Mucker and whatever I put my mind to I can and I will achieve!
I will no longer doubt myself or talk negatively about myself!
My body has gotten me this far in life and I wont give up now!
I AM STRONG I AM BADASS AND I REFUSE TO QUIT!
WHATEVER YOUR GOALS ARE YOU WILL ACHIEVE THEN JUST HAVE A LITTLE FAITH IN YOURSELF:
don’t compare your journey to anyone else because you are not them and they are not you! Your journey is yours and yours alone! Some days will be great and you’ll be full of motivation and other days you’ll need to dig deep and kick your own ass with discipline to move one step closer to your goals! It’s not an easy journey but you’ve got this!!!
