Keep Yourself Hydrated
Summer isn't over so remember to keep yourself Hydrated.
How hard is it for you?? For me it’s quite hard and I often find myself suffering from headaches due to being dehydrated but even though I am in the gym all day with a water fountain 10 meters away I keep forgetting to drink the Amber Nectar, I have researched the importance of hydration and have found some very useful information.

Research shows that.........
- Water is essential for life, and maintaining hydration is key for physical and Mental performance.
- Roughly 60% of the body is made of water.
- Drinking enough H2O maintains the body’s fluid balance, which helps transport Nutrients in the body regulate body temperature, digest food and more.
The human body can survive up to 50 days without food but only a few days without water. Even mild dehydration can influence mood, energy levels and the ability to think clearly.
Here is my calculation for my personal hydration needs.
Type in your weight in KG = i:e 85kg in body weight so 85 Divide by 0.024 = 3541 so 3.5litres.
With training a mixture of Strength & Cardio I would need an average of 1 litre
So I need 4.5 litres per day.

I really stress the importance of hydration and show them the benefits of how drinking can increase their performance and aid towards fat loss. Then I would look to hide it within their daily diet plan,
1st thing I promote drinking a glass of Lemon water (to aid with flushing out toxins)
Breakfast – Porridge mixed with water
Mid morning snack - Protein Smoothie – Mixed with water
Lunch – A glass of water before eating can help stop over eating
Mid afternoon snack - Protein Smoothie – Mixed with water
Dinner – Again – A glass of water before eating.
